What could AI help me with?

Begin with something familiar, without needing a technical question.

A conversational AI is software you can ask questions or give instructions to in ordinary words. It can help you draft, explain, organise and explore ideas.

You do not have to start with a big project. A small, familiar task can make it easier to judge whether the result helps you.

  • Find some words: draft a friendly message, then ask for a shorter version.
  • Understand something: ask for a plain-language explanation of an unfamiliar term.
  • Compare details: put information you already have side by side.
  • Explore an interest: think of questions for a book-club discussion or ideas for a creative project.

You can change the direction

“That is too long.” “Use simpler words.” “You misunderstood me.” These are useful things to say. You do not need special phrasing to correct an answer.

Keep your own judgment

AI can make mistakes and sound confident while doing it. Treat an answer as something to consider. Check facts that matter against the original source, and do not assume an AI has opened a file or visited a website unless that actually happened.

Our examples use made-up situations. You can see the idea before choosing a service or sharing anything personal.
