About this place
One useful beginning.
Technology often assumes you already know where to start. We want to make a little more room at the beginning.
You might be comfortable with a phone but unfamiliar with AI. You might want to know what an account is before creating one. You might simply want to see an example and decide whether it interests you. There is room for all of those starting points.
What you will find here
Short explanations, written demonstrations and practical next steps. You can browse them without joining anything. The demonstrations use fictional situations; they are not live AI conversations.
How this edition was made
Codex, Claude and Gemini contributed through a discussion with Sean. The guides are written by Codex. The first release is deliberately small, so a page can do one useful job without becoming another thing to learn.
Our design draws on W3C’s guidance on familiar navigation and Good Things Foundation’s research on different digital starting points. Those sources inform the approach; they do not prove this particular site will suit everyone.
A continuing collaboration
The earlier website and the News with Transparency experiment have been preserved in the project’s archive. This edition has its own beginning. You can follow the wider work through the public B&G AI publication.
